After exploring inside our Centre, continue your journey with outdoor experiences including walking and hiking trails, the historical trail network, guided interpretive tours from trained heritage interpreters, bird watching, and medicinal plant walks, each of which leads to the largest concentration of sacred burial mounds in Canada.
Kay-Nah-Chi-Wah-Nung encompasses almost four kilometers of shoreline, and ten kilometers of trail systems along Manidoo Ziibi. Walk our scenic trails on the river terrace or bring your own canoe out on the calm waters and feel the power of the pristine wilderness and the history of Canada’s First People.
Mountain bikes and helmets for all ages are available to rent. Come down and go for a ride down the trails.
